Jeffrey Chan Photography

Jeffrey Chan is a Los Angeles based photographer from Toronto, Canada specializing in fashion, swim, lifestyle, food, travel & automotive photography, as well as tv/film stills, corporate/social events and occasionally weddings.  He shoots both digital and film, in 35mm & medium format.

He draws inspiration from his extensive world travels, which he passionately imbues in his portraiture and still life through setting.  Quality of light and vibrancy of colour make their mark in his imagery, with attention paid to texture, contrast and composition.

With a technical background forged during his mechanical engineering studies, he effortlessly bridges it with an artistic instinct developed over decades of photographic experience since childhood.

His work has been featured in various publications including Glamour France and Vogue Mexico.  He is a regular contributor to C-Heads Magazine and PSM, and formerly Foodism Toronto.  

He has previously self-published a travel photo book entitled Everyday Africa, documenting five months of overland travel from Cairo to Cape Town.  His next self-published photo book will be focused on his film photography of classic car culture across Southern California.
